It is expressly agreed that all parties are acting in relation to the buying and selling of motorhomes, campervans, caravans, or other motorised leisure vehicles solely for the purposes of their trade, business, or profession.

All transactions facilitated through The Motorhome Guy are conducted on a business-to-business basis. The Motorhome Guy acts as an intermediary connecting private sellers with verified trade dealers and does not itself hold title to or take ownership of any vehicle listed on the platform.

The purchasing party is acting as a business and is not dealing as a consumer for the purposes of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in relation to any vehicle acquired through The Motorhome Guy platform.

Implied terms as to satisfactory quality and fitness for purpose do not apply to any transaction between the purchasing dealer and the seller, whether private or trade, where that transaction is facilitated through this platform.

All appliances, fixtures, and fittings present in any vehicle listed on The Motorhome Guy platform are sold as untested unless explicitly stated otherwise in the listing.

It is the purchasing dealer's sole responsibility and duty of care to ensure that all appliances and fixtures are safe for use by any end consumer prior to onward sale. This includes but is not limited to gas appliances, electrical systems, heating units, water systems, and any leisure equipment.

No liability or responsibility is accepted by The Motorhome Guy for any injury, illness, damage, loss, accident, expense, or any other claim arising from any fault, defect, or malfunction of any appliance, fixture, or fitting in any vehicle transacted through this platform.

No liability or responsibility is accepted by The Motorhome Guy for any third-party companies or individuals engaged by the purchasing dealer to carry out servicing, repairs, inspections, or any other work on any vehicle transacted through this platform, regardless of whether such third parties were recommended or suggested by The Motorhome Guy.

All arrangements with third-party service providers are the sole responsibility of the party instructing them.

All deposits paid are non-refundable unless the transaction is cancelled by the seller or by The Motorhome Guy.

Deposits are valid for 14 days from the date of payment. Extended reservation periods may be arranged, subject without exception to payment of an increased deposit and prior written authorisation from The Motorhome Guy.

Payment of a deposit does not constitute transfer of ownership. The vehicle remains the property of the seller until the full purchase price has been received and all payments have cleared.

Title and ownership of any vehicle shall not pass to the purchaser until the full purchase price has been received in cleared funds. Until that point, the vehicle remains the property of the selling party.

The Motorhome Guy accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, or deterioration to any vehicle during any period between deposit and completion of full payment.

All vehicle descriptions, specifications, and details provided on the platform are for identification and reference purposes only. The Motorhome Guy shall not be held responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in any description, whether arising from information provided by the seller or from data retrieved from third-party sources.

Valuations provided by the platform's pricing engine are estimates based on market data and are not guarantees of value. Actual transaction prices may differ.

It is the purchasing dealer's responsibility to inspect any vehicle in full prior to paying any deposit or completing any purchase. The Motorhome Guy strongly recommends that all dealers conduct a thorough physical inspection before committing to any transaction.

Upon request, arrangements can be made to facilitate testing of appliances and features at the point of inspection. Dealers are encouraged to raise any concerns before funds are committed.

The Motorhome Guy accepts payment by bank transfer or credit or debit card.

Cash payments are not accepted.

All payments must be made in pounds sterling (GBP). The Motorhome Guy reserves the right to charge reasonable administration fees for any payment method that incurs disproportionate processing costs.
